Local individual claims services company in Metairie is seeking a Loss Prevention Coordinator to assist the Loss Prevention Representatives with administrative duties!! Duties include but are not limited to: keeping schedules for Loss Prevention Reps. handling their travel arrangements and email correspondence. keeping track of reports/responses. file processing and reviewing recommendation letters for major grammatical errors and formatting. handling electronic file keeping system for different claims and clients. converting Word Documents over to pdf. format for email attachments. data entry into State created forms and form creation/documentation. special assignments when time allows. training - assistance with in-service presentations, newsletters, articles and e-mail blasts. assisting fund members with safety & health questions such as OSHA record keeping, etc. Qualifications and requirements: Proficiency with MS Office programs: Word, Excel, Access, Outlook 2+ years of general administrative support experience Must be open to training and eager to learn new things! Ideal candidate: will have strong MS Office skills. will be a great communicator, both verbally and on paper. will possess a pleasant attitude and great phone skills. will be eager and trainable.
